Smatawytefnakht
(fl. 340–330 BC)
   Achief priest of Sakhmet from Herakleopolis. Son of the priest of Amun-Re, Djedsmatawyefankh, and Ankhet. He left a long biographical stela discovered in 1765 in Pompeii, Italy, and now housed in the Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy, in which he mentions his presence in the battle between the Persians and the Greeks, presumably referring to the campaign ofAlexander the Great.
